Following the success of last year’s edition, Build for Bengaluru returns with its 2nd edition, Build for Bengaluru 2.0.
Build for Bengaluru 2.0 is a 24-hour hackathon that brings together passionate builders, designers, and innovators to create technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges faced by Bengaluru. The hackathon serves as a platform for participants to ideate, collaborate, and build impactful projects that contribute to making the city smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive.

Who can participate in the hackathon?
The hackathon is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. Participants from any branch or year are welcome.
Is this an online or offline hackathon? How long does it last?
This is an offline hackathon conducted at Sri Krishna Institute of Technology, Bengaluru campus and will run for 24 hours continuously.
What is the team size, and are cross-college teams allowed?
Each team must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members. Inter-college teams are permitted.
Is there any registration fee?
Yes. A registration fee of ₹999 per team is applicable.
Do I need prior experience to participate?
No prior experience is required. Beginners are encouraged to participate and learn during the hackathon.
Will food and accommodation be provided?
Food and refreshments will be provided during the hackathon. Resting areas will also be arranged for participants to take rest during the hackathon.
Can I work on an existing project?
No. All projects must be built from scratch during the hackathon duration.
